Corey Perry's power play goal in the third was the Ducks first in 19 opportunities. The Ducks had a great 5-1-2 road trip despite the lack of success with the man advantage. Coach Bruce Boudreau joked that in the third he was thinking of declining the next penalty before Perry finally potted one. The Ducks are only four points out of a playoff spot after being 20 points out earlier in the season. They could do it as they will now return home after the lengthy road trip.
