Corey Perry, who is suspended, was happy to hear that Jason Zucker skated on Wednesday. Perry will be out until March 22 because of his late and high hit on Zucker on Tuesday. "You don't like seeing anybody hurt," Perry said. "If I was in that position, you want to get back as quickly as possible. And hopefully he can. I'm not a person to go out there and hurt people and hope that they're out for a while. I hope he gets back and playing right away." Perry maintains that he simply didn't have time to adequately react to Zucker giving the puck away due to the fast nature of the game. The NHL felt otherwise.
