Copley, who made his NHL debut earlier in the day, was destined for a return to the AHL after the Blues acquired Anders Nilsson from Edmonton on Friday. Nilsson, who has 57 games of NHL experience, was called up from the AHL on Saturday and will serve as the primary backup to Jake Allen until Brian Elliott (lower body) is ready to return.
