Connor was returned from AHL Manitoba on Sunday, Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
While Connor made the 23-man roster ahead of the 2016-17 campaign, inconsistent play and an upper-body injury sustained in November curtailed his development a bit. However, the Michigan native still packs plenty of promise as the the 17th overall pick from the 2015 draft, and his adversity-filled experience in the NHL presents an opportunity to buy low on him in all types of fantasy leagues. Unsurprisingly, Connor still wound up with 42 points (23 goals, 19 assists) in 49 minor-league games this year.
