Connolly was dropped to the Bruins' fourth line during Sunday's shootout win over New Jersey, CSN New England reports.
EDGE Analysis
Connolly, who has scored just one goal over his last 22 games, was replaced on the right wing of the Patrice Bergeron/Brad Marchand trio in the second and third periods of Sunday's contest by Landon Ferraro. It remains to be seen if that's an arrangement that will stick, but the slumping Connolly is not a high-percentage fantasy play until he starts producing again. In 10 game in December to date, the winger has tallied just one helper.
