Cole (upper body) will miss Thursday's game against the Sharks, MLive.com's Ansar Khan reports. Cole exited Tuesday's game against the Coyotes in the first period and didn't return. General manager Ken Holland said the winger would be re-evaluated Friday, at which point the Red Wings will determine if he'll be able to suit up for either of their games over the weekend. Cole's absence could pave the way for either Stephen Weiss or Dan Cleary to enter the lineup Thursday.
