Cole (upper body) is not practicing Friday, MLive.com's Ansar Khan reports. Cole and Tomas Jurco (upper body) are both absent, while Pavel Datsyuk (lower body) is participating. All three forwards missed Thursday's game against the Bruins, despite early reports suggesting that Cole and Datsyuk would play.
