Coburn will start the season in Tampa's top four defenders, but will need to prove he can be better in possession to keep that role.

EDGE Analysis

He's big and mobile, and he does a good job of standing guys up at the blue line. But the Bolts got hemmed into their own zone far too many times while he was on the ice last season and that needs to change. They paid a high price to get him (Radko Gudas plus first and third picks in 2015), but saw him deliver the team's worst Corsi For % in the postseason and quite frankly, act like an anchor to defence partner Jason Garrison. He has little fantasy impact, but will negatively affect the performance of others if he can't improve his game.
