Coach Pete DeBoer said that his last report on Travis Zajac (Achilles tendon) was that the New Jersey center had ramped up his skating. The Devils bench boss said that Zajac "was starting to skate more regularly and all the news was good." He also mentioned earlier this month that he expects Zajac back prior to Christmas, but there is no set timetable for his return after tearing his Achilles tendon.
