Coach Pete DeBoer said he intends to start Johan Hedberg on Tuesday at Ottawa. That would give Martin Brodeur, who played in Monday's loss to the New York Rangers, the night off. Hedberg's last appearance in the Devils' crease came during a 2-1 win over the Islanders on Mar. 10.
