Coach Patrick Roy is happy to have Alex Tanguay back in the lineup. "He brings something so important to this team when he's playing with Paul (Stastny) and (Gabe Landeskog)," Roy said. The Avalanche has a 14-1 record when he's been in the lineup. Tanguay, who has a goal and an assist in two games since returning to the fold, has 11 points in 15 games this season.
