Coach Patrick Roy indicated Monday that Mitchell (oblique) will likely return to the lineup Tuesday, Terry Frei of the Denver Post reports.

Mitchell's oblique injury has held him out for most of the month of November, but it looks as though that absence could come to an end Tuesday. As a result of the news, Mitchell can effectively ruled out for Monday's contest, but the forward's return will be welcomed and should shore up the Avalanche's bottom six.
