Coach Mike Yeo confirmed Koivu (undisclosed) would play Thursday against the Blackhawks, KFAN 100.3 FM reports. An undisclosed injury forced Koivu to depart from Wednesday's practice early, but it wasn't serious enough to knock him out of game action. He'll be back on the top line with Jason Pominville and Jason Zucker, the latter of whom replaces Zach Parise, who has left the team following the death of his father.
