Coach Joel Quenneville said he expects to have Versteeg available early in the Blackhawks' homestand that begins Feb. 9, Tracey Myers of CSN Chicago reports. Versteeg will miss the final three games of the team's current road trip, but he continues to skate on his own back in Chicago. He suffered the hand fracture back on Jan. 1 after absorbing a shot, but seems to be recovering well following a surgical procedure. The impending return would represent a boon for the Blackhawks, who had been using Versteeg as a top-six player at certain points this season. He's collected nine goals and 27 points over 34 games.
