Coach Dan Bylsma indicated Sunday that Okposo (knee) is "uncertain" for the opener Thursday against Montreal, Bill Hoppe of The Olean Times Herald reports.

The issue is not expected to be of the long-term variety and Bylsma suggested Sunday that Okposo has improved "exponentially" of late. When healthy, he figures to be a key piece as the team's top right winger alongside Tyler Ennis and Ryan O'Reilly and should serve on the top power play unit.
