Coach Claude Julien feels that Loui Eriksson has played more like himself of late. "Loui has just been good for us ever since he got over those injuries. He's a player that everybody from our organization saw him as being," Julien said. "He's great up front, he's a smart player, he manages the puck well, he doesn't make many mistakes, and he's a guy that's always been good in front of the net as well. I know we've got him on the half wall because we've got a different type of power play, but the 5-on-3, he's the designated guy to be in front of the net because he's good at it. So that's an area he excels in, and he did a great job." Eriksson finished the regular season with 17 points in his last 22 games. He has an assist and four shots in two playoff contests.
