Pettersson (COVID-19) resumed skating Tuesday after clearing the league's COVID-19 protocols, Mike DeFabo of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Pettersson could be in the mix to return following his three-game absence if he is fit enough to play against the Panthers on Thursday.
