Clarke MacArthur was very appreciative of Erik Karlsson feeding him the puck so that he could score a slump-busting empty-net goal. MacArthur hadn't scored in 10 games. "Literally when he came over in the huddle (after the goal) he was like, 'You needed a goal, right?' I was like 'Yeah," MacArthur said. "It was pretty cool that in a split second I can give him the puck, he can beat two guys and then know that I haven't scored in 10 games and throw it over like that. He did that all in one motion. A pretty special play by him. It just shows what kind of guy he is. It was just a real unselfish play." MacArthur has 12 goals and 29 points in 41 games this season.
