Chris Tanev's agent, Ross Gurney, has revealed that his client is drawing interest from KHL clubs, but his focus is still returning to the Vancouver Canucks. "We are waiting to hear from them," Gurney said of the Canucks. "We did have some momentum for a period of time a couple of weeks back, but we haven't heard back from them since our last conversation. The only variable that has changed is that for whatever reason there seems to be an uptick in the amount of interest from the KHL." Gurney added that he has received calls from the Swiss Elite League as well. Vancouver assistant GM Laurence Gilman said Monday that he is confident that something will be worked out with Tavev, who is a restricted free agent.
