Chris Pronger, who has concussion-like symptoms, will head to Pittsburgh to be examined by oncussion specialists Mickey Collins and Joe Maroon on Wednesday. Collins and Maroon helped Sidney Crosby. "Over the last few days, he's had some difficulties - a fairly persistent headache, just a sluggish feeling. . . . So we're just trying to do the right thing here and get him checked out by the doctors in Pittsburgh and see what we're dealing with," Flyers GM Paul Holmgren said. "Is it a concussion? I don't know that we know that just yet. We want to get a better idea, obviously." Pronger has been forced to sit out of more than half of the Flyers' games due to the concussion-like symptoms, a knee injury that required surgery, and an eye injury.
