Chris Pronger is still suffering from concussion symptoms, but GM Paul Holmgren is holding onto the hope that the Philadelphia captain will be able to play next season. The Flyers GM admitted to being an optimistic and that may be the case here, as Pronger hasn't played since Nov. 19 because of post-concussion syndrome and there hasn't appeared to be much progress in his recovery. Holmgren also said that out of respect for Pronger, the team won't take away his captaincy at this point even though Claude Giroux is believed to be the next in line for the job.
