Chris Pronger has been selected as the Philadelphia Flyers' team captain. Mike Richards, the team's former captain, was dealt to the Los Angeles Kings over the summer. Danny Briere described Pronger as the team's de facto captain last season. Pronger has plenty of experience leading teams, having already worn the C for the St. Louis Blues and Anaheim Ducks. This move makes a lot of sense.
