Chris Kunitz has received a two-year extension from the Pittsburgh Penguins worth $7.45 million. That will keep his annual salary cap hit at $3.725 million. Kunitz said last week that he would like to retire as a member of the Penguins, so agreeing to a new deal already shouldn't come as a shock. The 32-year-old winger has one assist and eight shots in four games this season, while playing on a line with Tyler Kennedy and Jordan Staal.
