Chris Kreider was used sparingly again in Game 6 versus Washington. He logged just 6:06 of ice time in the Rangers' 2-1 loss, marking the third straight game that the rookie forward has played less than eight minutes. Kreider played a whopping 26:17 in Game 3, but his defensive shortcomings appear to be hurting his playing time in what has been a tight-checking and very close series. "He's a young man trying to learn the game," said coach John Tortorella. "I think he's improving and we'll see where it goes." Kreider has two goals and one assist in 11 postseason contests, but he isn't likely to provide much offense on the fourth line.
