Chris Kreider scored two goals for Connecticut in a 7-5 win over the Bridgeport Sound Tigers Friday. After joining the Rangers directly from the NCAA last season, Kreider was an instant hit with the club and figures to be in the NHL if not for the lockout. While biding his time with the Whale he has totaled 10 points in 14 games. Matt Gilroy scored a pair of goals in the win.
