Chris Kreider (ankle) skated lightly on Wednesday. It was his first time on the ice since an MRI revealed last week that he had bone chips in his ankle. "It's better every day, I'm just taking it one day at a time," said Kreider. The injury has been effecting his play since Jan. 5 when he was playing for AHL Connecticut, but at the time it was believed to be just a bruise. It's not clear when he will be available to return.
