Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Shawn Lalonde has signed with Polar Bears Berlin of the Germany league, according to a German media report. Lalonde was a third-round pick of Chicago's in 2008 but has played in just one career NHL game since being drafted. Lalonde was unlikely to see much, if any, time with the Blackhawks this season.
