Chad Ruhwedel has been demoted to the minors. Goalie Matt Hackett, defenseman Brayden McNabb and forward Mike Zigomanis were also assigned to the Rochester Americans of the AHL on Monday. Drew Bagnall and Matt Ellis will report to Buffalo's minor-league club if they clear waivers.
