Center Derek Stepan scored his fourth goal of the season for the visiting New York Rangers in the third period Wednesday night but it was a case of too little and too late as the Florida Panthers prevailed 2-1. The Rangers gave up goals in the first two periods to fall behind 2-0. Martin Gaborik and Ryan McDonagh assisted on Stepan's goal.
