Center Derek Stepan scored a goal and added an assist as the Rangers edged the Flames 4-3 in a shootout in New York Sunday night. Stepan had scored only one goal in his past 18 games. He now has four in 33 games. Stepan also assisted on Chris Kreider's eigth goal of the season. Also scoring for the Rangers was Carl Hagelin (sixth). The Rangers were trailing 2-0 in the first period until Stepan's goal.
