He notched the go-ahead goal less than seven minutes into the third when he ripped a shot from the circle past Chad Johnston. Carrick was specifically targeted by the Leafs in the Brooks Laich deal and we can see why. He's just 21 and clearly has offensive upside. Keep Carrick's name in your phone and check back on him on draft day in a couple years. Or stash him in a keeper league if you can carry a guy for a few years before his game really takes off.
