Carle (hip) will likely continue to experience soreness once he returns to the lineup, Joe Smith of the Tampa Bay Times reports. Carle took part in battle drills during Tuesday's morning session and has been practicing for the better part of two weeks now, so his pending return would seem to simply hinge on how much pain he's able to tolerate. The blueliner could be in the lineup Thursday against the Bruins, but the Lightning may give him a few more days off in order to prepare for a return over the weekend. With the Bolts adding Braydon Coburn from the Flyers at the trade deadline, look for Carle to take on a reduced role upon his return to action.
