Carcillo has been offered an in-person hearing for his cross check on the Jets' Mathieu Perreault in Friday's loss, according to the NHL's Department of Player Safety. Perreault appears to be at risk of missing multiple games as a result of the hit from Carcillo, who looks like he'll be kept out of some upcoming games as a form of retribution by the league. It certainly doesn't bode well for the Blackhawks' fourth-liner that he's being invited for an in-person visit, as those types of arrangements often signify lengthier suspensions. Carcillo has a history of crossing the line on the ice, as he was previously docked six games just last postseason with the Rangers due to physical abuse of an official.
