Cam Barker is making a faster recovery from surgery on his ankle than first expected. He needed surgery to repair a tendon in his left ankle but has progressed substantially ahead of schedule. In fact, Barker was on skates Friday and could be back in action by the end of January which is five weeks ahead of the initial prognosis.
