Butler appears to be a depth recall with both Joel Edmundson (upper body) and Robert Bortuzzo (lower body) still on injured reserve. It seems unlikely Butler will slot into the lineup for Thursday's matchup with Nashville, but if he does, owners can likely expect him to average minutes similar to his 2015-16 appearances in which he saw 11:30 of ice time per night.
