Bryzgalov earned his first win of the season Friday, only needing to turn aside 14 shots in a 5-1 win over the visiting Devils. Although he really wasn't tested outside of Martin Havlat's first-period power-play marker, it was nice to see Bryz get back in the win column in his fourth appearance with his new team. He doesn't figure to get much action with workhorse Freddy Andersen seeing the majority of the time in the Ducks' blue paint, but in back-to-back situations such as this one -- where Anaheim plays again Saturday against a tougher opponent in the Kings -- Bryzgalov makes for an intriguing spot start on an elite team.
