Bryan Allen will be the stay-at-home defenseman that the Ducks have been lacking since the departure of Chris Pronger. Allen was fourth in the NHL in blocked shots with 188 last season and also had 111 hits, two stats that the Ducks were missing from their blueline in 2011-12. The six foot, five inch, blueliner will also give Anaheim close to 20 minutes per night and will be very good in the dressing room mentoring the Ducks young rearguards. He has little fantasy value unless your pool uses blocked shots and hits as he should get 15-20 points if he can avoid an injury.
