Bruins forward Carl Soderberg was thrust into an important role during Game 5 against the Blackhawks due to the injury suffered by Patrice Bergeron. Soderberg was making his NHL postseason debut in the game as the team's fourth-line winger, but ultimately found himself as the second-line center due to Bergeron's ailment. All things considered, the Swedish transfer acquitted himself well, skating over 14 minutes while winning four of his nine faceoffs.
