Brown scored a goal for the third consecutive game and added an assist in Thursday's 4-3 overtime win against the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
The goal was particularly crucial, as it came only 19 seconds after New York's J.T. Miller opened the scoring around the middle of the first period. The Rangers ended up building a 3-1 lead thereafter, but Brown was involved in erasing that as well, assisting on Kyle Clifford's goal that drew the score within one. Prior to this three-game stretch, however, Brown had gone 11 consecutive games without a point. That's been pretty typical for him this season -- short streaks of productivity punctuating extended stretches of futility.
