Brouwer recorded an assist during Washington's 5-1 rout of the Islanders in Thursday's Game 5. Demoted to the third line with Andre Burakovsky and Jay Beagle, Brouwer grabbed an assist on Karl Alzner's game-winning goal in the second period, his first point in five playoff games this season. Still getting work on the first power-play unit, Brouwer has the ability to put up decent point totals in playoff pools if he indeed has snapped out of his funk, but has only managed three goals since the beginning of March.
