Brouwer netted two goals, one while shorthanded, on four shots in Washington's 4-3 loss to the Predators on Satuday. Brouwer also had nice peripheral stats with a plus-3 rating and seven hits. The goals were his first in more than a month, and his first points since Mar. 15. The Capitals hope Brouwer heats as they close out the season with a difficult schedule that threatens Washington's once safe playoff hopes. They will be in action again on Sunday against the Rangers.
