Chabot suffered a broken hand Wednesday against Columbus and will miss the remainder of the campaign, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports.

This is a tough blow for Chabot, who will end the campaign with 34 points in 55 games. With the Senators a whopping 29 points out of a playoff spot at the moment, there likely wouldn't have been a need for them to rush the 25-year-old blueliner back anyway. Chabot should be fully healed up and ready to go for training camp next fall.
