Brian Campbell picked up just six minutes in penalties during the 2011-12 campaign, while averaging a whopping 26:53 of ice time per match. His average ice time tied Chicago's Duncan Keith for the highest in the league, but unlike Keith he skated in all 82 games. Campbell also concluded the year tied for second among all defensemen with 53 points. His lack of time spent in the penalty box should garner him contention for the Lady Byng Memorial Trophy.
