Brendan Mikkelson was sent for tests Thursday after crashing into the boards during a practice drill. According to the St. Petersburg Times, Mikkelson appeared to hit the back of his head and took several minutes to get up after the incident. He skated off slowly under his own power, but the team is listing him as day-to-day with an upper-body injury. Mikkelson has dressed in just one game this season.
