Brandon Dubinsky enjoyed playing for his hometown of Anchorage, Alaska during the lockout.

Dubinsky had nine goals and 16 points in 17 games with the ECHL Alaska Aces. "It was a great experience," said Dubinsky. "That community meant so much to me. It's something that I'll cherish forever, for my entire career." The Blue Jackets acquired Dubinsky from the New York Rangers in the Rick Nash deal. He should get a lot more ice time with the Columbus Blue Jackets, particularly with the man advantage.
