Brad Richards had a goal and an assist as New York beat Carolina 5-1 on Friday. The Rangers are on fire, winning six straight. Richards picked up his fifth goal of the season while also assisting on Dan Girardi's power play marker. Sean Avery opened the scoring with his first of the season. Brandon Dubinsky and Ryan Callahan each had two points as well.
