Bourque will attend the Avalanche's training camp on a professional tryout agreement, James Mirtle of The Globe and Mail reports.
EDGE Analysis
Injuries limited Bourque to just 22 games with the Predators in 2015-16, and the 25-year-old winger was only able to tally an unimpressive four points (one goal, three assists) over that span. The 2009 fifth-round pick will compete for a bottom-six role during the Avalanche's upcoming training camp, but won't be worth consideration in fantasy leagues in 2016-17 regardless of the outcome of his tryout.
