Booth was released by the Ducks on Monday, Dhiren Mahiban of the New York Times reports.

Booth joined the Ducks on a professional tryout agreement, but was unable to make much of an impact and has now been let go. He could resurface elsewhere in the league prior to the start of the regular season, although it wouldn't be surprising if he ultimately ended up in the KHL, where he spent the majority of his 2015-16 campaign with the Vladivostok Admiral.
