Blues coach Ken Hitchcock said David Backes is fine despite a scare late in the third period of Saturday's game. Backes left the game due to a possible head injury after absorbing a crosscheck from Minnesota's Warren Peters. Peters left the game and might be suspended for his actions. However, it looks like Backes will still be available for Sunday's game. We're still a little nervous, because when it comes to possible head injuries, we've heard news that was initially encouraging prove to be overly optimistic. That being said, we will continue list Backes as healthy unless something changes between now and the Blues' next game.
