Blake Wheeler appeared to be hurt after he was pushed into the Dallas Stars' open gate during the third period of Monday night's contest. He left the ice in pain but managed to return for the final moments of the contest. Coach Paul Maurice appreciated Wheeler's toughness once the game was over saying, "You guys just saw him walking around here and you can see the condition he's in. Thats the kind of thing a franchise can hang its hat on. Guys that care." The Jets may have dodged a bullet, as it looks like Wheeler is all right. We'll let you know if we hear otherwise, though.
